A new generation of sustainable buildings are being developed by our BRE Centre for Sustainable Construction, who with £3.3m funding, are paving the way for buildings that have lifelong resilience and adaptability to their environment.

​We carry out research and engagement activities on new and emerging transport technologies and modes, including electric vehicles, autonomous vehicles, and mobility as a service.

Public Policy Research

Our public management academics were recently ranked 3rd in the world for the quality of their research by the Public Management Journal. Strength in public policy research made Cardiff the natural home for the Public Policy Institute for Wales.
